The ai of gashin was crying when she heard that even though the tone of gashin was like just a reading a script with no emotion

so AI like a robot XD

Most likely the latter. All forces recognizes the 'terrorist' as a actual force to respect deep down, because Japan was once a country before whatever happened in the plot that caused it's downfall.

It's really odd for a near futuristic time period to go back to human discrimination by race and stuff. You'd think that societal integration would be more of a thing since modern Japan IRL is more connected to America than Asia and more for the sake of technology and progression. Identity and history is still important as a way to stand out but you can still fit in with other nations as a union of sorts.

Modern society as a intelligent specie can be progressive and efficient and advanced, but what holds us back is our sensitivity to scale, which amplifies our greed and selfishness.

It's not odd to me, certainly not out of some sort of utopian society where one could be forgiven for questioning if we were still even human. I don't have enough faith in humanity to see it will ever growing out of it's racial divisions (or people not exploiting them for their own interests) at any point in the future.

Not sure I want to believe Brad's gone bad yet. He seemed to have so much respect for Japan in Season 1.

Nope, this isn't a matter about who being good guy or bad guy.
It is about what benefit you can gain and mainly for political purpose.
North America Coalition might think of taking over entire Japan under their control and kick other colonies out with military might.

When Misuzu mentioned the anniversary I kinda figured out that they were planning a birthday party for the AIs. It's still a nice breather episode and I think the AIs deserved their reward after all their hard work assisting the pilots in battle.

Seeing those three ai together is kinda cute

I didn't know gai also has this feelings even though he's just an ai he still got mad at amou from hiding things from Gai and now amou is just tossing him away

2. They just want to take down NAC ASAP together because of their highest influence in current war
